ROAD TRIP - PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE AMERICAN WEST
FROM LACMA TO THE MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE BORDEAUX
An exhibition billed as a brief road trip through the many myths of the great American West, from the late 1800s to the 1990s, was on view at the Musée des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux, part of the year-long celebration of the Los Angeles-Bordeaux Sister City 50th anniversary. Included in this exhibition were artists strongly associated with the West (Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Robert Adams, John Divola, David Maisel, Aaron Siskind).
